Confluences is a multilingual agency specializing in providing solutions and support to companies seeking to break into or expand within the Cambodian and ASEAN markets. Since 2015, it has been offering a suite of cost-efficient solutions organized across 4 business units Access, Operations, Trading, and Ventures. Their vision is to become a catalyst of opportunities for all partners and investors within the region.
In 2021, Confluences moved to a new office at Aquation Office Park, this move was a huge next step in realizing their vision. A new collective space was also opened, allowing the company to help nurture new and up-and-coming start-ups. To coincide with this growth, the company approached Anagata to redesign its visual identity as a group. We worked closely with CEO Soreasmey Ke Bin on this redesign.
The brand's icon which symbolizes a confluence, the junction of two rivers was revamped to be more optically pleasing while also retaining the essence of its predecessors. Along with the new icon, we also introduced a custom logotype in both Khmer and Latin. The curves of the logotype were designed to mimic the flow of rivers further emphasizing the literal connection with the brand name.
Based on the current brand architecture, we established a new color and logo lock-up system to help unify both the existing and future business units of the brand. Once the new core identity elements were completed, we created new brand identity guidelines to be used as a reference by the numerous partners the company works with.
